Acupuncture Noosa ProfileStudying Eastern philosophies helps me on my path to health and wellness. Classical Chinese medicine uses a holistic approach to medicine and I am always willing to communicate with your medical providers to ensure continuity of care. I enjoy working with chronic pain, chronic conditions, and women's health. Struggling with chronic pain often leaves us to manage our discomfort on our own and pressured to make our own important medical decisions. This can be challenging and daunting if you are already presented with enduring daily chronic pain or symptoms of a chronic nature. My treatments look at all aspects of living that have an impact on your quality of life.

My background:

My interest in Eastern philosophy led me to study Traditional Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture (Boston, Massachusetts). I received my Master's degree of Oriental Medicine in the study of Chinese and Japanese acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. I am currently involved in post graduate studies with Classical Chinese Medicine scholar Arnaud Versluys. Before my Chinese medicine studies, I was a Clinical Social Worker in crisis counseling and case management with adults and children. I then worked with Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities which led me to become a US Nationally Certified American Sign Language Medical Interpreter. I enjoy staying healthy with yoga, dancing, meditation, hiking and exercise.
