About Patricia

I have an interest in women's health issues, digestive imbalances, chronic pain, chronic conditions and immune related disorders. Struggling with chronic illness leaves us managing discomfort on our own and pressured to make important medical decisions. This is challenging and daunting if you are already presented with what seems like never ending discomfort. My treatments look at all aspects of living that impact your quality of life.

• My background:

Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture (Boston Massachusetts), studying Chinese and Japanese acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. I am a diplomate and involved in post graduate advanced studies with Classical Chinese Medicine Scholar Arnaud Versluys in the Tian-Zeng lineage in China.

Before Chinese medicine, I was a Clinical Social Worker in crisis counselling, community case management and hospital emergency settings. I then worked with Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities which led me to become an American Sign Language medical interpreter. I am currently practicing Chinese medicine on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia.
